The MTMT Repository Accreditation Committee has issued a certificate for the journal „Translation Studies”, which was launched by the Department of Translation and Interpreting Training at ELTE BTK in 1999. The journal aims to create a Hungarian-language, internationally significant professional forum in the field of translation studies, and has played a significant role in Hungarian translation studies over the past 25 years. Currently, 27 journals have such a certificate, 7 of which are affiliated with the ELTE Faculty of Humanities.

The Repository Certification Committee of the MTMT (Magyar Tudományos Művek Tára = Hungarian Science Bibliography – The database of Hungarian scientific publications) issued certificates to the Elpis Journal of Philosophical Sciences based on the submitted certification requests.

On October 16, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences published the document entitled „Proposals for the Handling of Articles for Journals that Engage in Objectionable Practices” containing numerous recommendations. In the case of articles published in 2024, the MTMT will use the the journal classification of the Norwegian Register. For publications and journals published in Hungarian and in Hungarian journals, the Committee of MTA did not support the use of the Norwegian list. The Repository Certification Committee of the MTMT issued certificates to two more scientific online journals affiliated with the ELTE Faculty of Humanities. The „Névtani Értesítő” and the „Dissertationes Archaeologicae ex Instituto Archaeologico Universitatis de Rolando Eötvös nominatae” journals won MTMT Qualifications, which is considered outstanding both within the university and nationwide.

For the first time, ELTE journals received the title „MTMT Qualified Journal”. Three online academic journals „Lejana”, „RussianStudies.hu” and „Journal of East Asian Cultures” have been certified. The recognition is considered outstanding both within the university and nationally.
