This year, ELTE Trefort Ágoston Teacher Training High School celebrated the 150th anniversary of its foundation and adopted eight prints of great significance to the history of the school, which are preserved in the ELTE University Library and Archives.

The 2023 calendar of the ELTE University Library and Archives presents the Jesuit missions of the early modern period through some of the library's museum publications.
On the 1st of September 2022, the ELTE University Library and Archives organised the tenth conference entitled Traditions and Challenges. This year's programme included presentations on the themes of Preserve, Protect, Serve and Preservation Practices in Higher Education Libraries.
There have been personnel changes on the board of trustees of the Foundation for the University Library. Dr. Edit Madas academician, and Judit Osskó architect, were admitted to the Board of Trustees as new members.

The University Library and Archives of Eötvös Loránd University continued to receive significant support from the Foundation for the University Library in 2021, with funds raised from various tenders, charitable donations and a percentage of personal income tax donations to help the continuous development of services.

The ELTE University Library and Archives' new calendar 2022 presents some outstanding cultural heritage of Eötvös Loránd University, which deserve the attention not only of the university but also of the public.
The work was reseen by the general public at our highly successful Cultural Heritage Days event on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Dante’s death, with the digital version available in the EDIT repository.
With the support of Foundation for the University Library, IT equipment was purchased in the University Library and Archives of the Eötvös Loránd University from grant funding.

Our readers can find a frequently updated collection of books in Hungarian and other foreign languages, with a wide range of topics in the fields of history, arts, cultural and religious history, philosophy, psychology, linguistics and literary studies.
